Alexandra Leiseca is an identity and culture focused writer. She is committed to listening to and telling the stories of marginalized voices.
As a writer of Cuban American heritage, Alexandra is passionate about exploring identity, ethnicity, and belonging. She has been published in The Boston Globe, The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, COUNTERCLOCK Literary Journal, and served as the Nonfiction Editor for Redivider literary journal.
Alexandra is a proud Chicago native and was influenced by her diverse upbringing to use writing to bring about change from a young age. She is currently working on a novel based on her family's experience fleeing Cuba, coming to the United States, and their lifelong search for home.
